The 2022 Industrial Design 5 Forum (ID5) Midterm Meeting will be hosted by the European Union Intellectual Property Office on 20-22 June in Alicante through hybrid form. ID5 discussions will focus on ongoing projects such as New Technologies Exchanges, Joint Communication Action, and User Guide of the View and Drawing Requirements. The Partner offices will work together on two catalogues which will provide an overview of the terms of protection and remedies for industrial design rights in ID5 jurisdictions. They will also discuss potential new project proposals for e-learning and the assessment of designs, indications for registered designs and design protection in the Metaverse. As part of the event, a visit for exhibitions and landmarks in Valencia, the city designated by the World Design Organization as 2022 World Design Capital, will also be arranged.
